About the event
Saturday, January 23, 2021 LCPM Network joins forces with #ENOUGH!, Heart 4 The Community Initiative and Bencore Entertainment to present “An Evening of Jazz With a Cause” at KC’s Music Alley with emcee Charita Mariner featuring Recording Artist “Sir" Malone and On Kee Jazz Band. This evening of amazing music is all for the cause to raise money for S.E.R.V.E. (Stafford Emergency Relief through Volunteer Efforts). Full menu and cash bar.
S.E.R.V.E. meets the emergency needs of individuals and families who experience financial crisis and promotes programs to help individuals become self-sufficient.
Food Pantry:
Through our food pantry, we distribute food to low income families who are unable to stretch their SNAP benefits, are suffering with a recent emergency, or are Senior Citizens who are on a fixed income and need the help. We also assist with helping our clients to qualify for ‘USDA’ and ‘Food for Life’ government subsidy programs.
Emergency Financial Assistance:
Upon completing our screening process, we can provide the last $100 towards rent, utilities, and urgent medications for our clients. These monies may be used all at once or throughout the year as needed. Through LGC, CFC and CVC designations, Rappahannock United Way, Stafford County Government, and community support we are able to assist those in all of Planning District 16 with emergency financial assistance.
Holiday Programs:
With the help of our AMAZING community, we are able to provide lovely Thanksgiving and Christmas “Baskets” of food, including Turkeys to about 350 families during the Holidays. Each one is full of all of the traditional foods that make these seasons so special!
Prescription Assistance Program:
Stafford Hospital Foundation has generously provided S.E.R.V.E. with a grant to help low-income Stafford County residents who need on-going prescription medications. The Community Pharmacy Prescription Program allows clients to attain their ongoing Prescriptions at an affordable rate and on a continual basis.
